Q:What do you "get" for the building fee?
A:When you choose The Lodge for your wedding reception, you get private use of our facility. The building fee also includes, tables, chairs, white or ivory floor length linen, full table setting and an onsite coordinator that gives you personal one on one attention.
Q:Can The Lodge accommodate vegetarian requests and other special dietary needs?
A:We’ll work with you to make your menu of choice.
Q:Who does catering for The Lodge on my wedding day?
A:The Lodge is managed and operated by Eurest Dining Services, a division of Compass Group, the largest food service company in the world.
Q:Who does bar service for The Lodge?
A:We do. We have a full liquor license, and a relaxing bar area set up in front of our fireplace.
Q:How old is the building?
A:The building was built in 1999, but until 2002 was used exclusively for private use of Welch Allyn functions and events. The public began using it in 2002.
Q:How far in advance do we have to book our event?
A:It depends…Because we only handle one event each day, if you are firm with a specific date or time of year then we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to inquire for availability. If you are more flexible with your date and/or time of year, then we always have availability.
Q:Can you have a ceremony on site?
A:Yes, for an additional fee. Speak with your onsite coordinator for more information.
Q:Will a wedding coordinator be available on the day of the event?
A:Yes. Your wedding coordinator will be with you every step of the way, throughout the entire process.
Q:How long can my reception be?
A:The actual reception can be for 5 hours. The end time has to be 11:30pm. All wedding party and guests will have until midnight to be out of the building, but the entertainment and bar will have to end by 11:30pm.
Q:Does The Lodge provide dessert?
A:It is not included in our packages but we always encourage you to add it to your event. Our chefs are amazing and they welcome the challenge to suit your needs.
