Welcome to the Lodge
Q:
What do you "get" for the building fee?
A:

When you choose The Lodge for your wedding, you get private use of our facility. We only do one special event per day. Just tell us when you’d like your event, and we’ll make it happen.

The building fee also includes: tables, chairs, floor length linen in your choice of white and ivory, house centerpieces, and an on-site coordinator that gives you personal, one-on-one attention.

Q:
Can The Lodge accommodate vegetarian requests and other special dietary needs?
A:

Absolutely. We’ll work with you to make your menu of choice.

Q:
Who does catering for The Lodge on my wedding day?
A:

The Lodge handles all food service and catering for your wedding. Our CIA executive chef will work with you to provide a customized menu, and our experienced wait-staff will handle all food service.

Q:
Who does bar service for The Lodge?
A:

We do. We have a full liquor license, and a relaxing bar area set up in front of our fireplace.

Q:
How old is the building?
A:

The building was built in 1999, but until 2002 was used exclusively for private use of Welch Allyn functions and events. The public began using it in 2002.

Q:
How far in advance do we have to book our event?
A:

It depends…Because we only handle one event each day, if you are firm with a specific date or time of year then we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to inquire for availability. If you are more flexible with your date and/or time of year, then we always have availability.

Q:
Can you have a ceremony on site?
A:

Absolutely!!! We have had several beautiful wedding ceremonies here on site. Our spacious terrace overlooks a fully stocked pond and the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside—a gorgeous setting for your ceremony.

Q:
Will a wedding coordinator be available on the day of the event?
A:

Yes. Your wedding coordinator will be with you every step of the way, throughout the entire process.

Q:
How long can my reception be?
A:

The actual reception can be for 6 hours. The end time has to be midnight. You do not have to be out of the building by midnight, but the entertainment and bar have to end by then.

Q:
Does The Lodge provide dessert?
A:

It is not included in our packages but we always encourage you to add it to your event. Our chef’s are amazing and they welcome the challenge to suit your needs.
