Welcome to the Lodge
Q:
Do we provide the food or do you have your own kitchen on site?
A:

The Lodge is a full-service facility with our own kitchen, staff and food.

Q:
What special deal can The Lodge offer a not-for-profit group?
A:

As long as a group can provide a 5013(C) Form (TE) stating they are a not for-profit, we can generally offer a discount of 1/3 off the building fee.

Q:
Can we be flexible with the menu, as we like to theme our events and have the food go along with it?
A:

The Lodge specializes in customizing menus and welcomes the opportunity to be creative within your budget needs.

Q:
How early can we get into The Lodge to set up, as we have vendors and silent auction tables to take care of?
A:

This will depend on when and what you need to do. We do our best to find a location to store items—but this is often dictated by the nature of your event and any other business we may have that day.

Q:
Do you do bar/bat mitzvahs? Retirement Parties? Birthday Parties?
A:

Yes. We do many different kinds of social events here at The Lodge, as well as fundraisers and holiday parties.

Q:
How far in advance do we have to let you know how many people are attending?
A:

The general rule is approximately 10 days prior to your event date but a confirmed guaranteed number is due 4 days from the start of the event.

Q:
How does the guarantee number work?
A:

You guarantee us a specific number and that is the minimum number that you pay for. We set enough seats and food for 5% over the guaranteed number

Q:
Do you have round tables, and, if so, how many people can they accommodate?
A:

We have a combination of round tables that can seat 6, 8 or 10 people.

Q:
Do you have a sound system large enough so that all of our people can hear the speaker?
A:

We have state-of-the-art audio equipment along with a PA system that will enable you to speak to (and be heard by) a group of up to 350 people.

Q:
What is the largest group of people that The Lodge can handle?
A:

This depends on what type of meal you choose, the style of seating and other requirements in the room (i.e., staging, dance floor). The largest group for a buffet-style meal is 350 with no dance floor. We can do an event with some seating for up to 500 people.

Q:
Can we decorate for our event at The Lodge?
A:

Absolutely. We do have certain restrictions, so as not to alter the natural beauty of the building, but on the day of your event, the building is yours.

Q:
How do I confirm the date?
A:

Once you find a specific date that works for your event, a $500 deposit is required in order to lock in the date. Once we receive the deposit, a letter of agreement will be sent to you to sign. The remaining balance is due approximately 6 months from the day of your event.
